Burleigh woods, located near Loughborough, is an ancient wood, which means it is one of few woods in the UK to have yearly bluebell flowerings. The UK has over half of the world's bluebells and they are vulnerable to damage as family woodland visits increase each year. I designed an interactive exhibition and event focusing on 'wildflower' fairies, teaching families to leave the bluebells alone and to stick to the paths provided.
